This page explains what personal data Yo.wa collects, why, and how it is used — whether you're booking a class or massage session, signing up for our newsletter, or getting in touch through the website.
Who we are

What information we collect
- Contact & booking details — name, email address, mobile number and (for home visits) your address, when you get in touch or request a session through our contact form.
- Newsletter signup — name and email address, when you subscribe via our sign-up form.
- Health-related information you choose to share — if you mention an injury, condition or physical limitation relevant to your yoga or massage session, we keep this only to provide your session safely, and never use it for any other purpose.
- Website usage data — basic technical data (such as browser type) collected automatically for site security and performance.
Why we collect it
- To arrange and provide the yoga and massage sessions you book (necessary to fulfil our agreement with you).
- To send you our newsletter, only if you have actively opted in (based on your consent — you can withdraw this at any time).
- To keep our site secure and working properly (our legitimate interest in running the business).
How long we keep it
We keep booking and contact information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet any legal record-keeping obligations, and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see "Your rights" below.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Yo.wa, who process data on our behalf:
- Brevo — email and newsletter delivery
- Netlify — website hosting and form submission handling
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA; where that happens, they do so under legally approved safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct it
- Ask us to delete it
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Request a copy in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., unsubscribe from the newsletter with one click)
